Photography - painting with light - has a wide range of forms. Documentary Photography and Story Telling, Wildlife and Nature, Sports, Portrait, Architecture, Travel, Events and Fine Art are different genres I tried during the last 45 years. I am focussing on Nature and Wildlife as well as on Fine Art.

I see technical skills as the starting point for creativity. I hope that most of my pictures have an emotional impact on the viewer.

I have been always interested in art, but it took some time to discover that the camera is my preferred tool to express it. At the beginning I documented my travel, but over the time my love for nature became the driving factor. Through my membership in high quality photo clubs I received valuable feedback and new ideas.
